The Spanish Property Portal iBuscando.com launches a Blog with the aim of serving as information centre for all foreign, Spanish property sellers, Spanish property owners or Spanish property purchasers wanting to get informed about the Spanish the implications of selling, buying or owning property in Spain.
We will be publishing different information guides that will inform about legal implications, procedures tax information and more useful stuff when purchasing, owning or selling Spanish property. You can already have a look or download a Purchase Contract translated from a standard Spanish document. This document is of course only valid as example of how a Spanish purchase contract could look like. Spanish law states that any legal document signed in Spain should be written in Spanish or if preferred in the language spoken in the specific “Comunidad Autónoma”. This means that if you sign a contract for the purchase of a Spanish property in English, it will have to be translated into Spanish if any legal claim has to be done.
We do therefore recommend to always make sure that any legal document signed in Spain is written in Spanish and from there a translation is made to you. We do also have in our Spanish Blog area examples of Spanish Property Sales Contracts and Rental Contracts for Spanish Property that can be useful for you.
Texts written by iBuscando.com blog readers will also be welcomed giving them priority when being published. If you want to send any useful information, quote a question, share your knowledge or express something that has to do with Spanish property, please send your material to: blog@ibuscando.com
